LONDON – 2nd December 2024 – MKS PAMP GROUP, a global leader in precious metals trading, refining, minting and distribution, is pleased to announce two key leadership appointments.
Chris Carkner Appointed Global Head of Minting
Effective 1st December 2024, Chris Carkner assumed the role of Global Head of Minting for the MKS PAMP GROUP. For over five years, Chris has led Manfra Tordella & Brookes (MTB) as CEO, driving exceptional growth in the North American market and elevating the company’s global standing in the wholesale precious metals business. Prior to joining MTB, Chris had a successful career at the Royal Canadian Mint, including leading their global precious metals business.
In his new role, Chris will oversee MKS PAMP GROUP’s minting business and strategy by leveraging the PAMP brand and the group’s minting operations in Switzerland, the US and India. Key areas of focus include driving continued innovation in products, services and partnerships, optimizing production capacity and capabilities, and continuing to uphold the world-class standards of quality for which MKS PAMP and the PAMP brand are renowned.
Ryan Boyles Appointed CEO of MTB
MKS PAMP GROUP is pleased to announce the appointment of Ryan Boyles as Chief Executive Officer of Manfra Tordella & Brookes (MTB), effective 1st December 2024. With over 13 years of leadership experience at APMEX, the world’s leading precious metals retailer, Ryan has played a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategies that drove significant growth and innovation across the business.
At APMEX, Ryan spearheaded key business initiatives that enhanced operational scalability, improved inventory and merchandising strategies, and drove overall business performance. He also played a central role in implementing systems and processes that streamlined workflows and supported the company’s rapid expansion into new markets and product categories.
In his new role, Ryan will lead the execution of strategic initiatives designed to expand MTB’s capabilities and position the company for long-term growth. He will focus on driving innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, and developing new ways to engage with and serve MTB’s diverse range of customers. Under Ryan’s leadership, MTB will strive to align its strengths with market opportunities, delivering impactful solutions that meet the evolving needs of the precious metals industry while building a strong foundation for future success.
